🇪🇺 GDPR Cookie Notice

Under EU law (ePrivacy Directive and GDPR), websites must obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device. This website uses only essential technical cookies (session state and security). No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required — but we believe in transparency.

By using this site, you accept our minimal cookie use as described below. You may clear cookies at any time via your browser settings without affecting your ability to use this site.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how IVOAI EU Shield (IVOAI Technologies Pty Ltd, ACN 699 170 682, ABN pending) uses them, and your choices. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and provide essential functionality. Not all cookies are created equal — some are necessary for a site to work, while others are used for tracking and advertising.

2. Our approach

We keep it simple: we only use essential cookies. We do not use any third-party tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent. We rely on this legal basis for the limited cookies we set.

3. Cookies we use

CookiePurposeLegal basisDuration
session_idKeeps you logged in to your accountStrictly necessarySession (deleted when you close your browser)
csrf_tokenProtects against cross-site request forgery attacksStrictly necessary / SecuritySession
theme_prefRemembers your display preferencesFunctional / Legitimate interest1 year

4. Cookies we do NOT use

  • ❌ Tracking cookies — we do not track your browsing across other websites
  • ❌ Advertising cookies — we do not serve ads or share data with ad networks
  • ❌ Third-party analytics — no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or similar tools
  • ❌ Social media cookies — no embedded social media trackers
  • ❌ Profiling or targeting cookies — no behavioural profiling

5. Third-party cookies

When you make a payment, Stripe (our payment processor) may set its own cookies to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy and are limited to payment processing functionality. Stripe acts as a data processor under GDPR for this purpose.

6. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Block all cookies — this may prevent you from logging in to your account
  • Delete existing cookies — you'll need to log in again on your next visit
  • Allow essential cookies only — our site will work normally with this setting

Most browsers let you manage cookie preferences in their Settings or Preferences menu. Under GDPR, you have the right to withdraw consent for any non-essential cookies — though as noted, we do not set any. You can clear all cookies at any time via your browser settings.

7. Local storage

In addition to cookies, we may use browser local storage for:

  • Caching your preferences for faster load times
  • Storing temporary form data to prevent loss if you navigate away accidentally

Local storage data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it through your browser settings.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce new types of cookies, we'll update this policy and notify you in advance, providing an opportunity to consent where required under GDPR. Given our commitment to minimal data collection, we don't anticipate significant changes.

9. Contact

Questions about our use of cookies, or to exercise your GDPR rights:

  • Email: hello@ivoai.com.au
  • Entity: IVOAI Technologies Pty Ltd, ACN 699 170 682, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local EU data protection authority (supervisory authority) if you believe we have violated your rights.
